Both Howdy models will fit most hourglass, teardrop, and elliptical dulcimers.
Custom fitting, if needed, is available for no extra charge
If you have a large or hybrid instrument, like a Folkcraft Dulcivox, Resonator or LAP-JO, or a box-type dulcimer, email us and we can build a custom size brace to ensure a proper fit.
Production time
All Howdy Stands and components are built to order in our Oregon workshop. Build times will vary, but will generally be about 2 weeks. We know you want to get pickin’, so we’ll build and fulfill orders as quickly as we can. We will notify you when we have an estimated ship date.
Shipping costs
Howdy Stands: $45 USD to U.S. addresses. $60 USD to Canadian addresses.
If you are outside the U.S. and Canada, please email us with your postal code, and we will calculate a shipping estimate for you. We want to support dulcimer players worldwide!
Note: Stands are shipped with signature required for delivery, unless otherwise requested.
Sales Tax
As Oregon is a no sales tax state, and we are a very small business, we are not currently required to collect sales tax. We recommend putting the savings towards another dulcimer!
